International Certificate in Kinesiology For Wellness

The Certificate in Kinesiology for Wellness follows on from the Certificate in Self-Care and introduces students to the fundamentals of PKP kinesiology. Topics include the techniques of manual muscle testing, 5-Element theory and practice, and the history and philosophy of kinesiology.
This course consists of the first five units of the Certificate in Basic Kinesiology Principles, BKP 101-105, and requires at least 10 full days of classroom time plus home study and practice.

Course Contents

Pre-requisite: Certificate in Self Care

BKP102-en : Proficient Manual Muscle Testing
People completing this unit will be able to use muscle testing accurately, and perform a Kinesiology energy balance on others.They will be able to identify dehydration, ionisation, neurological disorganisation (switching), central vessel integrity and thymus energy imbalance

BKP103-en : Introduction to the Law of 5-Elements
This unit develops an elementary understanding of and skill in using basic 5-Element principles for energy balancing.

BKP104-en : The Body’s Superficial Energy Connections
This unit introduces an understanding of the philosophy, principles and history of Kinesiology; to extend the understanding of meridians and their related organ systems and to develop proficiency in a 14 muscle wheel energy balance

BKP105-en : The Law of 5-Elements in depth
This unit extends the understanding of, and skill in using, the 5-Element principles and 5-Element emotions for energy balancing.

Dates

The next Certificate in Wellness will start in Johannesburg in February 2012.  You can choose a tuesday morning class every week or a weekend class once a month.  These workshops will be run over 1 weekend a month in Cape Town and will commence in March 2012
