The K-Power® Series was developed from the Diploma course teaching modules and provides continuing education for manual therapists and body workers who want to broaden their skills. These workshops contain K-Power’s® basic toolbox. These foundation skills enable you to apply muscle-testing knowledge to your specialty area

WEEKEND 1
5-Element Fundamentals and Muscle Basics
K-Power basic muscle testing tool box
The Chinese 5-Element fundamental concepts
The Great 8 muscles
6 basic balancers – meridians, NL’s, NV’s, NE’s, VR’s, nutrition.
6 fundamental techniques – ESR, Origin/insertion, spindles, golgi, circuits, More-mode
Core Muscles and techniques for stability and strength.
Test and strengthen the core muscles of the body to improve posture, mobility and restricted movement, release pain and increase health, You will learn how to evaluate muscles more fully using Hidden Muscle Failure, Sustained Muscle Use and Muscle Stretch Response.
WEEKEND 2 (PREREQUISITE WEEKEND 1)
The Arm and Shoulder Protocol.
Easy to remember techniques to develop skill and understanding in evaluating and balancing 22 muscles in the shoulder and upper limb. It includes history taking and pre and post evaluation procedures and evaluation of muscles by flow and by function.
The Elbow, Wrist and Hand Protocol.
Powerful balancing techniques for elbow, wrist, hand and fingers muscles including language symbology, including history taking and pre and post evaluation procedures.
The Hip/Thigh Protocol.
Test and balance the muscles of the hip flexors, hip extensors, hip abductors, hip adductors as well as external and internal rotators and all lower limb muscles. .
The Knee, Ankle and Foot Protocol.
Test and balance 24 muscles of the knee, ankle and foot –important for stability and strength, learn Language symbology and test, assess and balance these muscles in an easy to remember flow
