Did you know that all our Professional Kinesiology Practitioner students that complete the PKP Kinesiology training can now register with ASCHP (Association of Supportive Counsellors and Holistic Practitioners)  

Depending on your PKP level of training you may register as a:-
Supportive Counsellor – NQF level 4
Holistic Counsellor – NQF level 5
Wellness Counsellor – NQF level 7
Specialist wellness Counsellor – NQF level 8

AND Did you know that we are the ONLY college in South Africa that has added value for our students? We have our own in-house secure E-learning Platform covering all 4 levels of PKP so that our students can come to class fully prepared.

Our E-learning Platform has content and video demonstrations so that the student can preview the class material before attending class, as well as review it after class. During the face to face teaching, we will repeat the course content and assist you with any questions, demos and homework issues. This means that no matter what the circumstances, (pandemic issues!) our students can continue to learn!

We also teach all 4 levels of ICPKP as well as the Continuing Development courses.  We also have branches in Johannesburg, Cape Town, George, and Durban, so if you move to another province you will be close to a college and continue with your studies.

We value each of our students and strive to support you in your goals.  We, therefore, offer various courses in a number of different formats, designed to provide opportunities for learning that fit into even the busiest of schedules.

PLEASE NOTE: We are NOT an FET college and as such cannot provide student application letters for a visa application. If you live outside of South Africa and intend to study at the college, you would need to ensure that you apply for a visa separately to your college application.

Kinesiology Training

Level 1 – International Certificate in Basic Kinesiology Practice (BKP)

Approximately 1 year. The course is held over 6 months and the students then need to complete their case studies, orals and demos for their end of series exams however students can start with year 2 after 6 months (optional)).  BKP is the entry point into becoming a highly regarded Professional Specialised Kinesiologist.  It includes;

  • Foundational Principles of Kinesiology™(FPK1) – 6 Kinesiology units – class attendance including theory and practical assessment
  • Foundational Principles of Professional Kinesiology Practice™ (PKP 1) – 6 Kinesiology units – class attendance including theory and practical assessment
  • 1 home study unit – class attendance and home study (Anatomy & Physiology 1)
  • Assessed in class (Supervised Student Clinic Experience – 50 hours, Clinical Practice Client Sessions – 75 hours)
  • 5 Personal Kinesiology session (arrange with your instructor)

Level 2 – International Diploma of Professional Kinesiology Practice

After attending the first 6 units students will be able to start earning, a building their profitable Kinesiology businesses while attaining the Diploma in Kinesiology.  The diploma includes:

  • Protocols for Professional Kinesiology Practice™ (PKP 2) – 16 Kinesiology units
  • Approximately 18 months to complete, however students can start their Kinesiology business after completing 6 units.  Most students complete the units with in 12 months
  • 5 home study units – with optional class attendance (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pathophysiology – 5 units)
  • Assessed in class (Supervised Student Clinic Experience – 50 hours, Clinical Practice Client Sessions – 75 hours)
  • 5 Personal Kinesiology session (arrange with your instructor)

  • Approximately 12 months to complete although most students complete their studies within 8 months
