Megan has been involved in sports her entire life, from participating to teaching and then to studying and researching it. Megan is a South African martial artist who is also a qualified sports psychologist and sports scientist and researcher. However, even through this lifelong journey, Megan felt something was always missing in her understanding of the body. Her own struggles with injuries led her to discover Kinesiology and fill in that missing link.
Using various techniques, she is able to unlock the body’s ability to heal itself, impacting a wide range of issues that can be treated. Megan uses PKP Specialised Kinesiology not only to help athletes with injuries but to also help them unlock their potential and improve their overall performance.
Megan is open to working with athletes as well as anyone of any age who struggles with issues relating to emotional, physical, or mental problems such as: stress and anxiety, working through past traumas, relationship issues, learning difficulties, frozen muscles, pain and strains, food sensitivities, goal setting and decision making, and much more.
Megan aims to help others gain self-awareness and understanding of their own body, mind and soul and to help them move through life with a healthier mindset and sense of well-being.
Testimonials:
“I was going through a difficult time in my relationship and was suffering from a lot of anxiety to a point where I wasn’t able to eat. Megan helped me not only relieve the intense anxiety I was feeling and sort through the issues in my relationship, but also discover and work through trauma from my past that I had been suppressing. I didn’t even realise how I was being affected by this stored trauma and I felt much better afterwards!” -Bridget C
“My arm has been broken twice and I had surgery to try to reconstruct the shoulder. Unfortunately, I lost most movement and my arm was about 15cm shorter than the other. I can’t believe just after a few sessions I have gained so much more movement and have less tension. My arms are a lot closer in length now only a few centimeters out, allowing me to use it a lot more without pain.” -Sybil
